Random Update

My scale actually moved in the right direction this morning....since Sunday, I have been up .4lbs, I know it's not a lot but it was bothering me.

This morning....315.8lbs.

I also made it to this gym this morning, I almost didn't  but I pushed myself out of bed and out to the gym and did the 30 minute circuit workout again.  I like it, I feel like I accomplish a lot in that 30 minutes compared to 30 minutes on the treadmill.  1 hour of exercise for the month of March finished, only 11 more hours to go.  *groan*  I have goals of going to the gym tomorrow, Friday and Sunday.  Saturday I would like to go to the gym but I have an early morning dentist appointment and then my parents are coming down so I might just do a Wii Fit workout that day.

Thanks for all your wonderful feedback on calories and soda.  I've decided that I want to keep my calories under 1,200 each day or close to it.  I think that is very doable.  I also think me having 1 diet soda a day is not going to derail my weight loss horribly.  The soda doesn't seem to affect my band at all.  I am going to talk this over with my nutritionist at my next appointment and see what she thinks of my diet soda plan.

Still no take-out, it's been 11 days since we had take-out which is AMAZING with how busy I have been.  I'm quite proud of us/me since I'm usually the one pushing for the take-out yumminess.  Last night I had my internship, I had packed dinner for myself but didn't eat until I got home.  I have the internship again tonight and last night I decided to cook dinner in advance for tonight since I knew we were doing chicken wings and they take an hour to cook.  The old Leslie would have justified take-out or something like that.  I'm quite proud of myself.  I just have to keep up these good behaviors no matter how tired or stressed I become over the next few months.

Only 9 more days until my ob/gyn appointment.  I am so nervous yet excited.  I really really hope she gives me all the clear to start trying without having to deliver in Boston.  I have to make a list of questions so I make sure everything gets answered, sometimes I get flustered and forget what I wanted to ask.

Have any of you tried the Lemon Chobani Greek Yogurt?  It's my new favorite flavor, so delightful.  I highly recommend trying it if you haven't yet.

I finally took my engagement ring off.  It was sliding almost all the way off my finger and I decided to put it away so I don't loose it.  My wedding band is still on but my finger feels naked with out my engagement ring.  I don't want to get sized quite yet, want to lose a bit more weight and then I will.

I guess that is enough random things from my brain today.
Happy Wednesday!

I enjoy cooking and I live so far from any takeout places it is necessary to have staples at home. Have you used a crock pot before? There are some yummy, healthy things you can throw in a crock and not give it a second thought.
YAY for the gym visit!

You are doing so great! Good for you for getting yourself to the gym. That is awesome. Peach Chobani is my fave!

I love that you're doing so well, it's very inspiring, missy!

I would price check some local jewelers and see how much it would be to resize, it might be less than you think. :)

Way to go for making it to the gym. Your goal of 11 hours is great! I too love take-out, specifically chinese food. *sigh, I miss it the most post ban. As for diet drinks; I have 1-2 coke zero's a day. There isn't anything at all in them to hurt weight loss....good luck! Let us know what she says.

mmmmm lemon!! Ive never seen it!! I will have to look! I love the pineapple best so far!

Do not be scared to try yoga. Especially if you have a good instructor that can help with modifications! Talk to them ahead of time! I liked it at all sizes! I also love circuit training too! I lost 50lbs doing that an calorie counting before being banded! Go you!

@ Jen - I have used a crock pot before, I should pull mine out again.

@ Beth-Ann - The lemon was so yummy!

@ Ronnie - Thanks. I'm kicking butt right now and I hope to keep it up.

@ Amandakiska - it is SO GOOD! You must try it.

@ Nikki - Chinese food is so good, I miss it too but I can't think about it or I will go get some. LOL.

@ Amanda - I really want to find a class. I do have a yoga dvd that I only tried once, maybe I should pull that out again.
